Today’s #workout was brutal, but I feel so amazing! When I tell you that I was pouring sweat, I’m not joking, haha. The stream of sweat probably didn’t stop until I sat in front of my fan for a few minutes. My tank and shorts were soaked, and I looked like I just took a swim with my clothes on, haha. I took a few breaks, but other than that, this was almost done all the way through. I only took rests when I really needed it. The stretching routine at the end felt really relieving, and I’m glad I did it. I need to keep stretching because it benefits me so much. I’ve lost some tone and feel out of shape, but I’ve seriously been busy with school. I’m always trying to keep up with my workouts and health because that is as important. So, I attempted a Tabata HIIT routine today, and only got through the warm-up and four sets of the moves because I am extremely sore. I even tried stretching before to relieve my muscles so that I could continue, but after failing to do so, I realized that I need to let my body rest. It’s much more inportant to take a rest when you need it to get the maximum benefits in your workouts than staying on schedule to workout. Especially being sore, take a day off. So, I stopped the HIIT and just went on to stretch. Now, I feel a lot better, and I know that I wasn’t in great condition to do HIIT because I couldn’t balance on one leg while stretching. I regret omitting stretches these past few days because I don’t feel too good, physically, at the moment. I don’t want to stress my body out like I did earlier this summer, so I’m listening to it. In other news, my teacher didn’t get my time for the mile on Monday when I ran in PE, so she made me run it again…… Like I’ve said before, I am not a runner, but I beat my super old time of 16 minutes. Only by five minutes, but that’s improvement. :D My goal is to be able to run a 5-7 minute mile, which seems out of reach, but I’ll get there. I’m a lot stronger and fitter than I’ve ever been, and I’ve been feeling AMAZING this week for some reason. I did the video once (two rounds), and then I decided to do it once more. Four rounds total, and I’m dead! I followed it up with a lower body stretching routine. By the third round of the HIIT, I was completely focused and into it. I did it straight through. I had to pause right before the burpees, take 1 minute breaks before doing the video once more when they only gave 20 seconds, and modify the double butt kickers, but overall, I think I did much better. This was a FitnessBlender level 4, so it caused me to push myself, but I’m up for it. I’m going to work hard to see and feel changes. The time was organized in a pyramid structures, so it added more difficulty. I did the tuck jumps so well that I even surprised myself. Yay for improvement! I’m easing back into jumps now, so I feel great. Oh, and remember the Algebra II test I was studying for yesterday? I ended up not passing….. I have six A’s and one C, but once I turn in my other Algebra work, I could bring it back up to a B. Geometry was MUCH easier, in my opinion. Anyways, enough rambling, haha. I was able to do most of the moves, and I even did the majority of the reps in the moves I couldn’t even keep up with. So happy about this! Those rocket squats were deadly, but I did them! Of course, I took a few breaks, but its better than stopping. My arms are also getting the hang of lifting consecutively. A lot of progress I see! Yay! Anyways, I’ve only had three meals today, and its already six, so I’m trying to get in two more if I can. If not, than that’s totally cool. Anyways for today&#8217;s #workout, I only planned on doing the &#8220;Train Like An Athlete Interval&#8221; video, but I found it too be way too easy. FitnessBlender rates the difficulty level of their videos from 1-5, but I didn&#8217;t check it out until after doing the video&#8230; Oops. I&#8217;ve worked my way up to a difficulty level of 4. At least that&#8217;s how I see it. This is my last HIIT day of the week, so I like to go hard at it! I was a little unsatisfied with my performance, so I went back to touch it up a bit, and now I&#8217;m happy. :) I had a feeling that jumping lunges would be in there, but adding jump squats with a pulse is killer! I finished this about a half an hour ago, and I&#8217;m feeling good. :D I decided to do today&#8217;s #workout earlier because then my mood and energy would be better the whole day. I really don&#8217;t like evening workouts, haha. Anyways, I haven&#8217;t done a Blogilates cardio video in a long time, so I decided to give it a go again. It&#8217;s funny that I&#8217;m doing FitnessBlender to tone and Blogilates for cardio when it was vice versa. I didn&#8217;t do the Lolo Lunges video well because my legs aren&#8217;t at that level yet, not to mention that I dislike lunges and that they were dead at the end of all of that HIIT cardio, but I did what I could. It felt great afterwards though. :) I couldn&#8217;t stop dripping sweat after this routine, but now it has settled. Okay, I had an amazing workout today, and this feeling is what I missed about summer break: early endorphin rush!! I finished this about a half an hour ago, and I’m feeling good. :D I decided to do today’s #workout earlier because then my mood and energy would be better the whole day. I really don’t like evening workouts, haha. Anyways, I haven’t done a Blogilates cardio video in a long time, so I decided to give it a go again. It’s funny that I’m doing FitnessBlender to tone and Blogilates for cardio when it was vice versa. I didn’t do the Lolo Lunges video well because my legs aren’t at that level yet, not to mention that I dislike lunges and that they were dead at the end of all of that HIIT cardio, but I did what I could. It felt great afterwards though. :) I couldn’t stop dripping sweat after this routine, but now it has settled. Okay, I had an amazing workout today, and this feeling is what I missed about summer break: early endorphin rush!!
