This blog is all about living a healthy lifestyle that consists of eating healthy, working out, but not depriving yourself of the foods that you love. Most importantly, I started this blog to document my journey of developing a healthy relationship with food and exercise. I’m just an average teenage girl who cares about her health and who’s trying to live life as happily and freely as she can.
My name is Katie, and I’m 16 years old. As you can tell, I love healthy and clean eating as well as working out. I used to never care much about my health and took major advantage of my fast metabolism. Sure, I looked good in clothes, but under all of it, I wasn’t toned. I was soft. I decided that the beginning of 2012, I was going to change it all. I may’ve messed up quite a few times and I will continue to make mistakes, but I’m still going at it!
My love for steaks and fries turned into a love for chicken and vegetables. I grew a love for cooking and used it to make healthier meals for myself. I believe that in order to live a healthy lifestyle, you need to balance out everything. You can have those things that are labelled ‘unhealthy’ in moderation. That’s fine.
My other hobbies and interests include music, films, and writing. I sing, write songs, and play guitar. I also edit YouTube videos and write stories and movie scripts. I’ve made working out my love, and I enjoy being active as a passtime activity as well.
